Customization of Widgets
As a LMS (Learning Management System) administrator you can request customization of the enrollment widget from the HR Learn Support team on how the enrollment widget will appear to the end users. The Support Team can set the default enrollment widget, but it will only apply to users who have not accessed their dashboard, as it saves the configuration for each user, and if users change their configuration in the future, then we cannot control that or how they have changed the configuration of the widget. Below are questions to help us customize the widget to your preference.
How do you want the enrollment widget to be customized?
Do you have a template of how you want the enrollment widget to look like?
Examples of Customized enrollment Widget the HR Learn Support team can do:
- Learning Path Order
- Learning Path Widget Set to Open
- Any Widget can be set to default open/closed
Real World Example
Below is an example of a customized widget: Learning Path Order. Normally courses in the enrollment widget are set in alphabetical order.
The order of the Courses when added to the Learning Path learning asset.
Normally in the Enrollment widget on the learner's dashboard the courses are in alphabetical order.
You can have those courses set in the customized widget to be in order as they appear in the Learning Path order.
The user can change the way their enrollment widgets are sorted themselves via the sort features towards top right of the enrollment widget:
In this example the user can set the enrollment widget to sort courses via the Learning Path Order instead of in alphabetical order as by default.
